Food service refrigeration guide

How to choose refrigeration for food service

Refrigeration should be chosen around what you store, how quickly stock moves, and whether customers need to see the product. A back-of-house freezer has a different job from a cake fridge, deli display or beverage cooler.

Start by checking temperature requirements, usable internal space, door style, ventilation clearance and where the unit will stand. The right refrigeration equipment should support your workflow without blocking service areas or overloading the space.

Before ordering, measure the site, confirm plug or installation requirements and think about daily cleaning access. For display units, also consider visibility, lighting and how customers approach the counter.
