Tables and Sinks

Tables and Sinks at Kitchen Equip SA runs to 74 products across 5 categories, from R428 upward. This is a supply department rather than a single product line, covering everything from single replacement units to full kitchen fit-outs.

Tables and Sinks is organised into categories so you can go straight to the section you need. The largest are Boiling Tables (28), Sinks Stainless Steel (20), Tables Stainless Steel (18), Dirties / Wors Table (7) and Folding Tables (3).

Choice for Tables and Sinks hinges on throughput at your busiest hour. Equipment sized for the average will hold up the pass exactly when the kitchen is fullest.

Tables and Sinks placement has to account for heat, extraction and safe access. Check what the canopy can handle, keep clearances to walls and combustible surfaces, and have gas connections done professionally.

Tables and Sinks running cost is driven by how the equipment is used between rushes. Bringing units up to temperature in stages, and shutting down idle stations, saves more than most efficiency claims on a spec sheet.

Tables and Sinks orders go smoothly when four things are confirmed first. The physical footprint against your available run of wall or floor; the electrical supply, plug type and whether the circuit can carry the load; the delivery route, including doorway widths, stairs and turning space. Getting these settled before you order avoids the delays that come from discovering a problem on delivery day.

The range should be judged against how this department actually works. Benches, sinks and shelving are the fixed part of a kitchen — the parts that stay put while equipment around them is replaced. That makes getting the layout right more important than any individual item, because changing it later means changing the room.

Tables and Sinks in this category is bulky, so delivery is arranged rather than couriered as a parcel. We confirm the address, access and any offloading requirement before dispatch, and larger items are booked in so somebody is on site to receive them.

Pricing for Tables and Sinks runs from R428 up to R8 189, and the difference reflects duty rating rather than brand alone. Buying at the bottom of the range for a high-volume site is the most expensive mistake in this category.

Tables and Sinks can be quoted for a single unit or as part of a larger specification. If you are fitting out a new site, sending us a list or a layout is usually faster than pricing each item separately, and lets us flag anything that will not work together.

This range is sold new unless the listing says otherwise. Warranty and return terms are set out in our store policies, and are additional to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

Tables and Sinks works alongside our other departments, and most kitchens draw from several at once — Catering Equipment, Bakery Equipment, Butchery Equipment and Refrigeration among them. Planning across departments usually produces a better result than fitting out one section at a time.

This category is delivered across South Africa, with lead times confirmed at the time of order. Get in touch on 087 702 5214 if you need help matching a model to your site.
