Kitchen Equip SA supplies the Double Door Fridge (Staycold) - Sliding Doors (SD1140FLC) within our Underbar Coolers category, currently R19 709. It is specified for commercial kitchens and food businesses working at volume.
This unit is listed with 2 doors and a double, sliding doors format. Anything not shown should be confirmed with us before you order, particularly where it has to fit an existing space. Product images are representative rather than exact, so where finish, colour or precise dimensions matter, confirm them with us in writing before ordering.
Log the internal temperature daily. A slow drift is the early warning that a seal has perished or the coil needs cleaning, and it is far cheaper to catch then. It is catalogued as Underbar Coolers, which is the quickest way to find comparable units on the site.
Run through the space available and the delivery route into the room, the power point and whether the circuit has capacity and that the capacity matches your peak requirement rather than your average before committing. We can talk any of it through if you are unsure.
To compare alternatives, browse the full Underbar Coolers category, or the wider Refrigeration range. Customers looking at this model often also consider Fridgestar Underbar Cooler 1.5 Door - Steel Doors - Pizza Top and Fridgestar Underbar Cooler 1.5 Door - Steel Doors With Splashback.
Within our Underbar Coolers range this is the 13th of 37 models by price, placing it in the middle of the category. The range runs from R12 739 to R30 216, so there are alternatives either side if this one is not quite the right size.
Position this unit away from ovens, fryers and direct sunlight. Ambient heat is the single biggest driver of how hard the compressor works, and therefore of running cost. As a Staycold unit, parts and service support are worth confirming for your area before you commit.
The supply matters as much as the cabinet. Confirm the socket type and that the circuit has headroom for the compressor kicking in. Sliding doors need no swing clearance, which matters in a tight aisle.
Delivery on an item this size is arranged rather than couriered. Tell us about stairs, narrow passages, lift dimensions or a restricted loading bay when you order so transport is booked to suit the site.
Stock is supplied new except where a listing says otherwise. Returns and support follow our published store policies, which sit alongside — not instead of — your Consumer Protection Act rights.
Not sure this is the right model? Call 087 702 5214 and describe the application — we would rather point you at something else in the range than sell you the wrong unit.
